Quick update to let y'all know what I'm working on at the moment...

I'm actively working on the Super Multitasking update, which is still coming, I assure you! It's been renamed Super Duper Multitasking, and once again, all existing owners of Super Multitasking will be upgraded for FREE! (The price will go up for everyone else.) I know I've said this before, but I am more determined than ever to release it this year. There's still a lot of work to be done, but I hope you'll agree with me that the wait was worth it. The companion game I mentioned earlier will be coming as well, but it may not ship on the same day. Stay tuned...

This month marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Bungee Ferret Tossing, one of the more strange concepts I created. The fast action and unique control scheme still hold up today, in my opinion. I did previously announce that I was working on a new version of the game for Steam, but obviously, it's not out yet.

So...I just released an update for Sharpshooter Plus. I apologize for sitting on it for over a year, but it's out now. The update adds just a single new feature...something called "X Mode."

If you've played Sharpshooter Plus, you know that some of the minigames feature targets with Xs on them. You're not supposed to shoot these; if you do, you get a buzzing sound, a flashing X, and a score penalty. You know, the sort of thing 2-year-olds actually enjoy.

Just a quick update: the name for the final Super Multitasking expansion has been changed! "Versus Ultimate" is no more. Please look forward to...Super Duper Multitasking!

And how is that going? Well, I have finally completed principal development of all the new minigames. Now it's onto the tweaking, the UI overhaul, the new Missions, an all-new mode, and some other stuff. The final version is going to have way more stuff than I originally anticipated, and unfortunately it will take some more time. But it's coming. Stay tuned...

Not saying anything is saying something else, so I just wanted to say a few words on the current events happening in the world:

Black lives matter. Trans lives matter. Women's rights matter. Voting rights matter. AR-15s should be restricted or banned. White supremacy is poison, domestic terrorism should always be called out, and abortion is healthcare. And deliberately, intentionally causing other people to suffer for your personal power or profit? That's called "evil."

If you don't agree with me, I won't be bothered if you choose not to buy my games. Enjoy.

Hello! I recently checked and was horrified to discover that I hadn't posted any updates here in over 6 months. Oops! But rest assured, I have not been idle! Finding a work/life/dev balance over these last few strange years has not been easy, for sure, but I am still working on that, as well!

Today marks the release of Falling Plus on Xbox. While this was somewhat unexpected (even for me), I had actually originally planned to release it a few years ago, so...uh, yeah! It's out! But it's not the only thing I plan to release this year.

Falling Plus was actually done in 2019, but I had a ton of trouble getting sign-in and file access to work, so I kept shelving it. And then...back in January, Microsoft started suspending the developer accounts of those folks who hadn't released anything, and I was no exception. I was reinstated, but given 90 days to release something, or I'd be suspended again. The 90th day was tomorrow. Well, I am pleased to say Falling Plus is now available for Xbox One/Series!

I've been working lately on Super Multitasking's new minigames. I'm also putting in a bit of time here and there on Bungee Ferret Tossing 1.5, and on top of those, I'm flirting with finally expanding to new platforms beyond just Steam. All of this, somehow, in between my busy everyday life.

Unfortunately, all of these projects are too far from the finish line to complete this year. So I'm announcing here and now that there will be no further yyrGames releases in 2021. But 2022 should be fantastic, and I hope you'll look forward to a year that promises a bunch of exciting releases! Until then, I'll work hard, so that you'll soon enjoy the sort of action-packed experiences you've come to expect from me.

Since I’ve been quiet for awhile, I just wanted to post an update for anyone wondering: the Super Multitasking Versus Ultimate expansion is in active production. I’m currently working on the new minigames! I’m super happy with what I have so far, and I’m really looking forward to showing you the new additions…but please be patient for now! My wife went back to work, my daughter has entered daycare, and our routine has significantly changed, so having energy at the end of the day to work on projects is tough! I’m still hoping to release this year, but I’ll have a better idea of how realistic that is by the end of summer. Thanks for playing Super Multitasking!
