Back when the intense, action-packed, and oddly unique Bungee Ferret Tossing was released, I promised that 10% of the revenues would go to North Shore Animal League, a no-kill shelter located here in New York.

I think it's plain to see that I'm more or less the only one on the forums. There was definitely a good amount of activity there back in the days of Snake360, but over the last few years, it's just been me posting updates, and random bots posting spam. Actually, the most popular post on this forum isn't about yyrGames at all; it's about the Cooking Fever mobile game!

So, after December 31st, 2018, the forums will be permanently locked. The content will remain until December 31st, 2019, after which the forums will be removed. The most popular posts, as well as informational articles on the older games, will be moved to permanent articles on the main site and redirected; all other content will be deleted.

On November 20, 2008, after 11 months of hard work, Snake360 was released on the just-launched Xbox Live Community Games (as it was called at the time), on Xbox 360. This marked the beginning of yyrGames: action-packed, arcade-style games created by just two hands. And 10 years later, I'm still here, hard at work to keep bringing you that authentic arcade feel.

Over the coming weeks, I'll post some retrospectives and other thoughts on the games I've created over these last 10 years, as well as status updates on my current projects. Over the coming year, I hope to bring some exciting releases to your favorite platforms. Please look forward to all of these =)

yyrGames' 1980s throwback arcade action/puzzle game, Falling Plus, will soon be available on Steam!

This release will be in the form of an update to the version currently available on itch.io, with the biggest addition being real Leaderboard support for the first time! Finally, no more 16-digit Internet Ranking codes! You'll also get a set of 12 Steam Achievements, and support for a wider range of controllers, as well as some minor bug fixes.

Please note that the itch.io version will no longer be updated, and will be delisted on December 31st, 2018. If you were one of the (five!) purchasers of Falling Plus on itch.io, please contact me using the form above; I'll send you a complimentary Steam key upon the game's release.

For 10 years, you've been able to compete for score in yyrGames titles using the Internet Ranking feature. But it's mostly been quiet for the last few years, and all of the games still supporting this feature have new versions--either available now or coming soon--that have proper Leaderboard support in-game.

So, I'm announcing the end of Internet Ranking service for all supported games. You will no longer be able to submit scores after November 23, 2019. Rankings will remain viewable through December 31, 2019, after which the Internet Ranking pages will be removed.

yyrGames.com was the victim of an automated attack, which installed a phishing scheme on it. After restoration from an old backup, all traces of the attack have been removed. Security updates have been installed to prevent this from happening again, and the Web site is now operating normally.

It looks as if someone decided to break my Web site a few days ago. Maybe this means I've finally made it big? Or maybe it's just a lesson on what happens if you ignore "security update available!" e-mails?
